    Kenneth Mattes and Maureen Gannon,
My name is Ashley Mertz. I visited Belize and stayed at TREC with the Marine Ecology class from the University of Central Missouri with Dr. Stephen Wilson. During my stay, I was told that TREC provides internships but gives priority to students who have traveled there in the past. As a Biology student with an emphasis in wildlife and conservation I believe this internship would give me practical experience. I also plan to pursue a masters degree in marine biology as well. I am highly interested in an internship with TREC and I would like to receive more information about the opportunity. I would also like to know whether or not there is a position open. I hope to hear back from you soon. Thank you for your time.

    Hi,
I am a Professor at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) in Tifton GA, USA.
We have recently returned from Belize where we conducted our 1st study abroad classes: SCIE 1005:Environmental Science, BIOL 4891: Environmental Issues, and an EDUC 2010 Cultural Diversiy/Education class. (total number of students: 20 total professors: 2)

Ms. Amy Warren and I are discussing possibilities for next year’s study abroad. Our students thoroughly enjoyed the experience but expressed the desire to spend more time with the marine habitats. (exposure on this trip was limited to a tour guide – who was wonderful – but more hands-on time was requested by the students)

    My questions are:
What is the price of a 2 day or a 3 day program at your facility for next year (March 2015) The class focus would be Environmental Science and Marine Science.
